Gender-neutral fashion brand

Alameda are a gender-neutral fashion brand from Barcelona. Using primarily deadstock fabrics, they produce capsule collections made up of bold colours, textured fabrics and edgey cuts that push the boundaries of formal wear. It was important to reflect these ideas within the brand identity, creating a strong logo that represented the forwarding thinking nature of the brand whilst remaining rooted to fashion. 

We chose a classic bold serif typeface as the base for the logo, modernising it through custom curves and details to bring elegance, contrast and fluidity to the word mark. It is this contrast and balance that allows us to place the logo at large sizes throughout the product packaging, keeping brand application simple yet bold. A signature neon green is used throughout details within the product stitching and packaging, tying the identity together and making a subtle yet considered connection to the colours used within the garments.
